Recently in Year 6 ...


This term the children have learnt about the impact of drugs and alcohol.



In English, the children have published some excellent newspaper reports!



For Art, Year 6 have been focusing on shading through exploring the artwork linked to the stories of Harris Burdick.



Here is a copy of the timetable for May 13th - 16th.

Our Homework

In year 6, children will receive:

  • Maths target cards.
  • Maths homework linked to the unit they have focused on in school. (To be handed in each Wednesday)
  • Reading or grammar homework, also linked to the lessons. (To be handed in each Wednesday)

Children Should Also......

  • Read for between 20 – 30 minutes each day or use the read theory site listed below.
  • Practise their multiplication and corresponding division facts.

  • Costumes need to be in school –7th July
  • Year 6 Show ‘Matilda’ – TBC
