Barry Nursery are ready to welcome our lovely new Barry Nursery are ready to welcome our lovely new families from tomorrow ! We are so excited! There are still a few places available please enquire at the school office.
Today in Year 4, we immersed ourselves in Roman cu Today in Year 4, we immersed ourselves in Roman culture! 🏛️ The children thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic workshop where they took part in Roman army drills and learned about gladiator fighting. Throughout the day, they also explored a range of exciting activities, including Roman writing, coin design, and creating beautiful mosaic pictures. What a brilliant day of hands-on learning and bringing history to life! ⚔️🛡️
FAO Y5/6 parents/carers Due to the already hot wea FAO Y5/6 parents/carers Due to the already hot weather this morning, we have made a decision to restrict today's Y5/6 Sports Day to the PDC field area only. Please join us there from 9.30-10.30am for our races ONLY. We realise cutting short the sports day may be disappointing for everyone, however the safety of children and adults has to be our priority. Please be aware that there will be some sitting around for the children between races because both year groups will now be altogether, this is unavoidable, but we will endeavour to turn the races around as quickly as possible to reduce this. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
This morning, Year 4 took part in a fantastic firs This morning, Year 4 took part in a fantastic first aid session with Richard from @minifirstaid.miltonkeynes. The children learned essential lifesaving skills, including CPR, how to help someone who is choking, treating burns and breaks, and the recovery position. It was an engaging and informative session, and the children have gained valuable knowledge and skills that could help them in real-life situations. Well done, Year 4! 👏🚑🩹

Y6 have had a great day paddleboarding. Unfortunat Y6 have had a great day paddleboarding. Unfortunately, the coach at the site with them has broken down. A replacement coach is on the way and due to pick them up at 2.45pm, meaning they will be late back to school. Approximate time of arrival back at school will be 3.30pm. A message has also been sent via parent pay.
URGENT - due to technical issues during half term URGENT - due to technical issues during half term break, there will be a change of meals today as follows: Breaded fish bites will be replaced with Mac and Cheese. Cheese puff slice will be replaced with twisty tomato pasta.

This means that you will not be able to log on to this at the current time and school are also unable to do so, which means we cannot send any communications currently. The company have stated that they are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
This week our PCSO’s came to visit the Reception c This week our PCSO’s came to visit the Reception children. They learnt so much about the role of a Police Officer. The children dressed up in uniform, explored the equipment and the inside of the car.
This week at Hyrox Club, we were incredibly fortun This week at Hyrox Club, we were incredibly fortunate to be joined by @lukegreer_ Luke shared his experience and expertise with the children, inspiring everyone with his dedication and achievements in Hyrox. We are also delighted that Luke will be visiting the school next week to deliver a series of workshops for our children. It promises to be a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn from an elite athlete, develop their fitness skills, and gain valuable insight into training, perseverance, and goal setting.
On Friday 8th May, we celebrated David Attenboroug On Friday 8th May, we celebrated David Attenborough's 100th Birthday! The children loved dressing up as explorers and learning more about David as well as their favourite animals!
